I enjoyed this novel very much. That’s what makes this book, unique. One other thing that was odd about this book was the lack of time line. I didn’t say anything- I didn’t have anything to say.

We see this in a scene where Moran is driving a tractor when a pheasant, unseen by him, is trapped under the blades and it’s legs and wings shorn mfgahern.

Still, I could have done without this novel.

One of the more painful conflictual moments of the book though there are many comes when Moran refuses to support his daughter Sheila after she gets accepted to university.
